Gorgeous and soooo warm. Yes, this is real fur, not faux. Love the huge sleeve cuffs (5 inches at widest point) at the ends of the cape and the hand muff style pockets down the front. The sleeves are bracelet length, and the back length falls a little longer than in the front. Fastens with just 1-furrier hook/eye and is fully lined in a silky burgundy fabric. This is a very roomy style cape that can fit a size Small up to an Extra Large. I measured the best I could below since this is cut like a cape, except for the sleeve cuffs holes at the bottom hem. I am not exactly sure what kind of animal fur this is, but it is exquisite!!

It is rarely bitter cold down here along the Gulf of Mexico, but I am so tempted to keep this fur coat. The only flaws I can speak of is that the lining has patchy discolorations throughout, but this is not seen when worn. Also, there are a few small spots where there is some minimal fur loss (I have 1 of these spots photographed below in last row) but they are not bald. The seam at the back of the collar has a little minor fur loss (see photo), but this will only show if you decide to wear the collar flipped up. This weighs close to 5 pounds packaged so postage will be a little more. Overall, I feel this coat is still in fabulous shape after these many years!!
